Side effects
The side effects of medical abortion are generally mild and it is a method well tolerated by women.
1 - During the medical abortion process, after expulsion the woman may bleed more than during menstruation, for a few days or sometimes a little more.
In the event of any query, consult with the nearest Clinic or Hospital.
2 - The pills to be taken after 48 hours -MISOPROSTOL- (prostaglandin), may cause nausea, diarrhoea, shivers, fever, etc.
(these side effects are reduced if it is administered vaginally)
3 - By aborting, the woman may notice the same symptoms as a pregnant woman who has a SPONTANEOUS ABORTION, in other words menstrual type pain, with greater intensity (80%) and blood loss from the vagina (100%), which may be copious and require treatment (5%). In addition, there may be sensations derived from the drugs themselves, such as tremors, temperature, nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea, and the possibility of an allergic reaction cannot be excluded, as with any product.
